I remember years ago, Brooke wanted a pet chinchilla

It's been sort of kept under wraps but those who like Brooke Shields have always been aware of her PR inconsistancies.  Back to her attendence at Princeton and her questionable degree.  Her marriage to Andre Agassi in which he admitted to meth use and being unkind to her.  Her breakdown which was caught on camera in Central Park after that guy on her show committed suicide.  Then there's the mother.

Remember Kathy Griffin going off about Teri Shields calling the mother of the groom "a c*nt" at Brooke's wedding?  Then there's Teri selling her daughter short to the tabloids a la Jennifer Aniston's mom.  Like here...

"In an exclusive Enquirer interview, a bitter Teri lashed out at her famous daughter for turning her back on her - and blasted Brooke’shusband Chris Henchy for his “Svengali-like” control.

She also admitted that she has continued to struggle with her alcoholism.

“I don’t see Brooke or my granddaughters much, and if they do come over, it’s only for a little while and then they’re gone,” 74-year-oldTeri lamented.

“I wish I could see Brooke, but all she does is work. They were here over Christmas, dropped off some packages and were gone.

“But Brooke always makes time to visit her friends no matter how busy she is.

“I’m often disappointed in her, like the times she snaps, ‘What do you ever do for me?’ That’s what her husband tells her to say.

“I preferred Brooke’s first husband Andre Agassi over Chris.”

Teri says the contempt she holds for TV writer Chris stems from his treatment of her - as well as an incident she witnessed that involved the couple’s first-born daughter Rowan.

“A few years back during a meal in her high chair, Rowan started crying and decided she didn’t want to eat anymore,” Teri told The Enquirer.

“So in a fit, Rowan threw her dishes and food onto the floor. Just then, Chris walks in and in a raised voice says: ‘What’s this?’ He was so angry he made that poor little girl get down on the floor and pickup every last thing. Can you imagine?

“Brooke goes along with whatever he says - that’s the kind of Svengali-like influence he has over her.”

An Enquirer reporter visited with the legendary stage mom at her rambling home in Haworth, NJ.

Teri revealed Brooked banned her from being alone with her daughtersbecause of an incident a few years back when Teri was baby-sitting for Rowan at the couple’s New York City apartment house.

Teri put Rowan in a rocker and left to pick up a food delivery in the lobby - but got stuck in the couple’s private elevator for hours.

“Rowan got out of her rocker and wandered around the apartment, crying and unsupervised,” Teri told The Enquirer.

“Fortunately, nothing happened to her. But that was the end for me - and it breaks my heart.”

Not long after this debacle, Teri landed her ass in a nursing home with the diagnosis of dementia.  Remember how Brooke went nuts when some Nat'l Enquirer journalist took Teri out of the nursing home for lunch? Well, my ex-boyfriend who is super rich and WASPY for generations had to do this to his mom.  Nursing homes exist for the chronic alchies.  They do.  If you never get your alcoholism under control and you are 60+ , this is where they send you.  Had a few in my family like this.

Brooke might be feeling all hoity-toity with her royal family history from that Ancestry.com show but that's no excuse.  I hail from royalty and if you trace back, you probably do too.  Fun doing the royal hand wave but not fun when you can't lift more than 40 lbs. without fucking yourself up.

I've always liked Brooke but this latest fur campaign of hers is killing me.  Does she really have to pimp herself like that?   That TV show got canceled, I know.  She really isn't talented enough to transcend her image.  She sure was a gorgeous teenager.  Gotta give her that.  But she is crazy.  We all know it.
