Look, nobody wants anything to be wrong w/these twins but it is painfully obvious that something is wrong and it isn't people hating.
It's just like the time the animal hospital said my cat was fine and could go home. I knew he wasn't and after forking out 7K for the little butterball, he didn't make it. (This is when I first contacted Satan & offered to sell my soul)
Some people just know these things and I'm sure NE had their folks digging for dirt. See, Brangelina don't mind if people know there is something wrong w/their twins but Angelina Jolie fears the inevitable...that people will be pointing their fingers at her and alleging drug use.
Not long ago when this photo of Viv came out I gasped!
Surely, I was not alone in my reaction.
What amazed me yesterday was some people's gullible reaction to the Sandra Bullock baby story. I refuse to comment on some blogs (but I'll read them) because I don't want my brand associated w/some of the commenters that patronize those sites.

Shiloh never looked like that. Nope. People would say stuff about her mouth hanging open & it did but she didn't have the funky heads & far apart FAS-esque eyes. Personally, my opinion is that AJ was tweaking leading to developmental disabilities but not DS.

They don't have DS, but I'd wager they are very slow. Remember their mother is a drug taker. Who knows if she was clean during her pregnancy? It's not reaching to believe they might be very learning disabled. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Whatever the case, I imagine Jolie is very embarrassed by the cover. She's a vain woman. For a cover to talk about her children having DS means they look like they have DS. That's a far cry from the gorgeous children she and StuPitt were suppose to have. Still no surprise to me. She's a sickly unhealthy looking person herself. I am surprised that Shiloh has turned out so well.

I have ssid from the first unveiling of the wonder twins, they look all sort of special.
Maybe that is why Brangelina doesnt parade them around, wouldnt want to sully their perfect family image.

you people can be such jerks. My daughter has Down syndrome, and she is not ugly, by far. ANYONE with half a brain knows that Ds is not something fraternal boy/girl twins would have, it is just foolish to even suggest it. That would be some pretty intense DNA to have both eggs that just happened to be fertilized at the same time have 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. It is just so incredible to me the traction this story is getting. The babies are beautiful, and if one of them DID have DS, it would not be a tragedy, it would just be the way their family is. You all make it sound like DS is the end of the world. Trust me, it is not.

I agree with what you said about DS not being a tragedy. However it is possible - if highly unlikely - for fraternal twins to both have Down Syndrome (being boy/girl has nothing to do with it) My fraternal twin brothers both have DS - the chance was 1 in 80,000,000 but it has to happen to someone. They are wonderful boys and I love them to bits.
Knox definitely doesn't have Down Syndrome. In some photos Vivienne looks a little bit like she may have DS but I highly doubt it considering that she is walking at 1 year. This is a ridiculous, hurtful rumour. Shame on the National Enquirer.

Of course you'd love the kid in the same bittersweet way I love my feral cats. I talk them up like they are so fab but the BF doesn't think so. Besides that, I recognize the head gear thing b/c I had a friend who went through it. Hats always. I'd still be astute enough to see it but the hats, the hats cemented it because I KNOW it. Don't be hard on someone w/ a disabled kid when they are choosing to see the best of the situation. That's what makes people SPECIAL.
