NOW YOU DIDN'T THINK GWYNETH WOULD HIRE AN ATTRACTIVE ASSISTANT, DID YOU?

From Not Obsessed...

See the above link for more pics of Paltrow and her assistant today in NYC.
Never, ever wear flip-flops in Manhattan!  Even for a second.  That is just disgusting.  Maybe if the flip-flops had a wedge but still...

I guess that's how Gwyneth makes herself feel better in comparison to the woman in the above photo.  See how that's done?

The link above really shows that Gwyneth's assistant needs a cleanse or something.  Maybe she's suffering from allergies.  That was Gwyneth's Goop newsletter today.  Now I must ask you, why, oh why does she not have an actual Asian writing about this stuff?  No Asian will have her, I guess.

From the Goop

This week, Adele Reising shares thoughts on spring from a Chinese medical perspective and provides tips for those of us who are suffering from allergies.

One of the first signs of spring is the maple syrup season. The sap of the trees begins to flow up from the roots of the tree, to the tips of the branches. This happens before the buds begin to show themselves.

Blah, Blah.  At first I thought Gwyneth herself was discussing Maple Syrup Season.  Thought she was reading this site, again.

Adele Reising is an acupuncturist and herbalist with her own practice in NYC since 1999. She is both a practitioner and a scholar, studying the ancient medical texts and their wisdom in the native Chinese language. She is the former chair of herbal medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Now, I know I'm gonna come off as George Costanza's mother in that episode of Seinfeld when she is working on her marriage and believes she is talking to an Asian woman but it ends up being some blond wannabe.  Remember that?

If not or if you do, here's a refresher on Not Chinese!

I can't help but think this w/the Chinese New Year post & of course, this one.  That Gwyneth!  What a prankster!

Row of Cherry Trees

I'll be in Brooklyn for the Cherry Blossom Fest this weekend.  See you there?
