WHAT'S THE TRUE REASON PALTROW PULLED OUT OF KIDMAN'S FILM?
Let's just say it...Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman are box office poison. They were signed on to do The Danish Girl together but Paltrow supposedly pulled out or was fired. Gwyneth was a replacement for Charlize Theron who bailed early on.
Now remember, Kidman is producing this film herself. It's possibly the only way for her to get jobs these days.

-Gwyneth Paltrow has pulled out of appearing in The Danish Girl, a film about trans painter Einar Wegener.
Paltrow was herself a replacement for Charlize Theron for the part of the painter's wife Gerda-
I wonder what the real reason is...not buying that Paltrow is bowing out for her kids. I don't buy for a minute that she really cares that much about them like she did when they were much younger. I'm sure she uses them as an excuse to hide the fact that Hollywood doesn't really have a use for her anymore.
Even though, she claims to be friends with Kate Winslet and quoted her in one of her magazine interviews (outing her before her public statement of divorce) you just know Paltrow must secretly envy Winslet. Winslet has nailed her craft and raised the bar so much higher than Kidman or Paltrow could ever hope to ascend. Gwyneth just exudes envy and jealousy but she thinks she cleverly conceals it.

Read from several sites that Kidman had snubbed Paltrow when they were both in TN. Promptly after that, Paltrow dropped out (don't blame her here, if Kidman's the producer than it's a clear sign things are not going to go well between the two....) In my opinion though, I think Paltrow is more talented.... Kidman, ha ha ha, she's a moron (see her CMA costume, for a 40-sometihng, amazing!)

I have loved Winslet since "Heavenly Creatures". She didn't need a famous boyfriend to get where she is today. Why would Paltrow need to pull out of "Danish Girl" because of her kids? Is she so exhausted from the shoot in Nashville that took like 20 days? And at the same time announces she's going to be on Broadway? Because she wants to be with her kids? Also she uses her kids for staged photos and at the same time looks down on other people who do it. Compared to Paltrow Kidman is clearly the bigger box office draw. Imagine if Paltrow had played the leading role in "Australia". It probably would have made like 10k the opening weekend.

Actually, Australia had tanked so badly, Kidman panned severely (largely her botoxed and duck lips to blame -- labeled a wooden doll), you're probably right without seeing it Paltrow would not have the draw, but after seeing it (there is a general consense out there globally and otherwise that a lot of people can't watch it again, the movie makes them "cringe", etc.) you might wonder which is the lesser of two evils...what were AA thinking when these two were awarded????
