Friendship Divorce

What do you do when you realize that although you may have years of history, and found real value in each other in times past, that you kind of don't like a friend anymore? That, after time spent with this person, you feel drained, empty, belittled or insulted. My father always used to tell me that, ‘you can't make new old friends.’ How do you distinguish if someone in your life makes you change for the better or if you are better off without them?”

Well, I just hope this is about Madonna.  It could also be about Tracy Anderson or it just may be over Tracy Anderson (read post of last week).  Early on in this blog I would  always warn Gwyneth Paltrow to stop emulating Madonna.

See here that Bruce Paltrow (who came from a long line of wise rabbis) would never
approve of Madonna. 

You'd have to check my Gwyneth archives to the right but at one time I stated that
"Madonna is doing you no favors, kid"

I can't imagine how they could be friends and how that would be healthy for Gwyneth.



Madonna is gifted genetically.  You would know if you saw those photos of her that sold at auction last year for a pricey sum.  Nicely shaped perfect breasts and the rest of her is in proportion.  She always had a different look and those blue eyes...



Yes, she never grew up but she is a self made woman.  A supreme narcissist.  Self made is the key here.  It must be tough for Gwyneth even though she is ions younger than Madonna to deal with that.  Gwyneth should stick with others who made a name for themselves off of someone else's money or fame:  Stella McCartney, Tracy Anderson.
These women are plain Janes like Gwyneth and more her speed.  Gwyneth has no business being friends with Madonna.  It must be demoralizing for her.

That is my own "friendship divorce" from about a year ago.  I'm telling you now, don't be friends with someone you feel bad for and don't be friends with someone who is and has so much more than you.  It never ends well.  That's what siblings are for.  Got it?  Good.
