FREEBIES FROM SEPHORA (HERE'S HOW)

Make Up For Ever Flash Color Palette 2009 Collector's Edition

That baby went for $95 dollars.  It was sold out in New York
and I didn't want to purchase it online w/out seeing the actual
product because it got some if-y reviews on Sephora.com.

Here are my swatches of the brown, white and pink
To the right is the different variations of pink using
the pink and white.  I am trying to recreate a bubble
gum pink lip color that was available in the 60's.

Here someone with a dark skin tone lays out the swatches
Notice how highly pigmented the colors are as to remain true
regardless of a person's skin color.

At the Sephora at the Florida mall there in Orlando, of course
I asked the twat at the register for some samples but she said
they were out and that she'd have someone make me up one.

She called over a new employee on her mic piece and that kid
made me up a little plastic jar of Shiseido Brightening Serum.
I explained to the kid that I wanted a brightening make up base
and then I got a sample (made from the tester) of this...

Not for young skin, does not photograph well

So now we know we can sample at Sephora before and
without even purchasing.

While waiting for my samples, the BBF decided to get his
sisters, 3 each, $100 gift cards.  This time I made sure we
didn't have the same snotty salestwat.  I made sure we got
the mirror compact and samples that come w/the gift card.
Oh there were samples, a whole drawer full of them but the
1st salestwat was too lazy (and that explains why she was a
chubster) to walk the 10 feet to get me some samples after I
just dropped a buck on the color palette.  Seems she wasn't
too lazy to apply tons of aqua eyeshadow on brown eyes no
less and apply stick on gems in the corners.  See, all of that
effort required her to be sitting down, the lazy cow.

The lesson here is to ASK for things and to ask the right person.
Move on from a salestwat to another if you are sensing attitude.

Just by getting the right person before arriving at the resort and
graciously asking for a better room from a friendly employee by
the name of William got me bumped up to a room overlooking the
bay at The Loews Portofino Hotel with a balcony so I could smoke
and do my royal hand wave to the subjects below.  My subjects
were the ducks and seagulls who benefited from the spoils of the
deluxe club room lounge.
Don't be afraid to ask.

sorry you had to see my freaky thin wrist and Angie Jo veinage

The set can be purchased in Neiman Marcus and Saks in the US and at Selfridges in the UK (after August ...
