WHY CAN'T MADONNA JUST EVER BE HERSELF?
I've always suspected that Madonna was attempting to morph into Deborah Harry. I even mention it in a former post. Then someone posted a link from Madonna:Finally Uncovered and here it is, from 2001, I believe:
"Somebody told her that the camera loved Debbie Harry. That made ahuge impression on her. I think she felt, yeah, the camera loves me,too. Something clicked then," says Dan.
So if you want to predict what Madonna's next transformation will be, just check out images of Debbie Harry in the 80's. Now we know why Madge went so overboard with those cheek implants. She's channeling the young Deborah Harry because this is what Blondie looked like recently...

actually. the photo you put next to the one of madonna's at the top is more recent than the "recent'' photo of Debbie you provided.
Debbie has been looking ever better lately than she has in years so Madge will probably start copying her again. Here's a pic of Debbie from this year: WOW!

Yeah, but Debbie was naturally gorgeous whereas both Madonna and Gwyneth have needed a LOT of work to look even passable.
Check out any video of Debbie Harry from the 80s. She has those amazing cheekbones, insanely beautiful eyes, a naturally straight nose ... Okay, she's had some surgery lately for maintenance purposes obviously, but she didn't need it in her heyday - unlike Madonna and Gwyneth who both needed two nose jobs and god knows what else to look even passable.
Of course, Debbie has struggled with her weight whereas those other two freaks haven't. I guess you can't have everything but it poses an interesting dilemma. Would you rather be Debbie Harry or Liz Taylor, naturally stunning but prone to fat ... or cosmetically enhanced like Madonna etc but capable of ageing thin???
